A Non O Visa in Thailand is for foreigners with a Thai spouse (wife) or a Thai child. Essentially, this visa is initially issued for 90 days, but can be extended in Thailand for up to one year at a time with the correct paperwork.

NON-O DEPENDENT / MARRIAGE VISA THAILAND
A Non O Visa in Thailand is for foreigners with a Thai spouse (wife) or a Thai child. Essentially, this visa is initially issued for 90 days, but can be extended in Thailand for up to one year at a time with the correct paperwork.
Foreigners in Thailand married to a Thai citizen are eligible to apply for the Non-Immigrant O visa. Moreover referred to as a marriage visa, we are able to convert tourist visas and Non-O visas to the Non-Immigrant O Marriage Visa. Lastly, this type of visa allows for a work permit.
Foreigners in Thailand who have a child with a Thai citizen, but are not married, are eligible for a Non Immigrant O Visa. And this long stay visa is based on being the legal guardian of a Thai child.
We can convert both tourists visas and Non O visas to this type of visa. Lastly, it is possible to have a work permit with this type of visa.
Foreigners living in Thailand who are married to another foreigner currently in possession of a long stay visa for Thailand are eligible for a Non Immigrant O Dependent Visa. However, to qualify for this visa, you’ll need to be older than 20 years and younger than 50 years of age.
For the Non-immigrant O visas these are the following requirements:
- A valid passport
- You will also need a Thai bank account with a minimum of 400,000 Baht for more than 2 months. We can assist with opening a Thai bank account if you don’t have an account yet.
- 2 passport-size photos
- A Marriage certificate if married or a Birth Certificate from your child if you want to apply for the Guardian visa
